Suggestions of possibilities for two beeps a minute apart. 2008 Searay Sundeck
Aci best thought at this point. Thank you

One of your sensors is not reporting. You will need a scanner to determine which sensor.

IAC valve is most common failure. Unplug it and see if beep goes away.

You have multiple sensors that can cause the two beep each minute alarm. Your power available is probably now limited to 90% as a result. Primary culprit is the water pressure sensor (located on the power steering cooler).

These sensors are a 3 wire type that have their own +5vt power source, ground, and signal wire back to the computer (which provides a range of .5vt to 4.5vt). If the sensor signal wire provides ANYTHING outside of .5vt to 4.5vt the alarm and decreased power is triggered. For that reason simply unplugging these sensors still triggers the alarm.

See the fault codes here...

Does the computer need to be reset in this situation. As in say 90,% power. Or will it reset itself , have similar issue

I’m pretty sure I know the answer but has anyone found a way to pull the codes without a dedicated, fairly pricey, marine scanner?

With my mefi-3 ECU I can put it in diagnostic mode and read the codes with a light or volt-ohm meter. Here is YouTube demonstrating.

I also have a fox marine engine gateway to put engine info on my MFD and it will also give code information. That’s about $300, but it’s also useful all the time.

I don't think you can crack a 555 ECM I've searched internet. Does my 2006 have that ECM also or is it newer, thanks

You can clear the codes but unless you fix the problem they will return immediately
I have a 2006 Mercruiser 5.0 MPI, getting the 2 beep alarm so I disconnected water pressure sensor and it looks clean as does the pipe it goes into. 2 part question: will the alarm reset itself when I put in a new pressure sensor and even though I disconnected the wire on the sensor it’s still beeping is that normal?

I had that issue last year, the first time in 2 years since I bought it, I went to full throttle one day. I mean all the way, just to see what wot would do as far as speed. After I got back to no wake zone I started getting a beeps every 2 min. I came on here asked some questions and did some trouble shooting. Alarm was sounding when I got back to the ramp and took the boat home to flush.

After I got home I went to flush with salt away and noticed the beep was gone, never came back nor did I hear it again. All gauges were normal at the time of alarm also. So I bought a vessel view that day and it did not show anything then or now. It was suggested by scoflaw it may be the water pressure sensor. I rarely run my boat at WOT as my cruise speed is 26 to 28 at 3300 rpm.

See what happens this year

IF the water pressure sensor was the issue... did you look at what your PSI was... then it's still beeping because there's no signal. 2 beeps a minute can be from any of a few different sensors. You can replace the PSI sensor on a whim and hope for the best or you can diagnose.

It can also be for oil level in your reservoir for your outdrive could be low also. All my gauges showed normal oil bolts temp tack everything showed normal

Watching your feed
Had similiar situation.
Replaced seawater pump, engine circulator water pump and 3 months later pump bearing froze taking out belt.
Now I have low presssure alarm, changed water pressure sensor, got strange readings on my factory dash gauge, still alarm, changed again another pressure sensor, now i get zero on the gauge and limp alarm.

have water flow thought i had pinched hose. Wiring has 5 volt reference so tried jumping out the connector still nothing but zero on gauge
