2004 320 Smartcraft vessel view is not working

Hello,

I just finished sea trial on a 2004 320 sundancer. I found out during the sea trial the" Vessel view" is not working. Is this a module that is one part of the whole system? I spoke with the local Sea Ray dealer and they told me it could cost up to $2200 to replace. Has anyone had this problem?

You can purchase a 150-250$ VesselView mobile, and the engine data will appear on your mobile device via Bluetooth. OR, if the boat has a newer electronics package supporting NMEA 2000 (Garmin, or Simrad, or anything newish), you can purchase a 400$ smartcraft to NMEA 2000 gateway. This assumes the engines are smartcraft compatible.

Find out exactly what device is installed. Smartcraft SC5000, vesselView 4, 502, 7, etc. my gauges are all driven by the smartcraft system, do your gauges work? Specifically the multi gauges with 4 data points, fuel, battery, temp, etc.
