When I shift into Forward, it takes a few seconds then there is thud, and it moves forward, not usually an issue in reverse, but defiantly forward. My original mechanic said it was the dual prop catching up or something like that but I think its getting worse, the delay time is longer just a few seconds, and if I throttle it gets into place quickly but will be a very large lud noise, any ideas???? Is this a concern???

Concern? Yes. There is no "catching up". It should engage immediately. What kind of drive fluid are you using and when was it last changed and level? Drain a little out and check the quality. Could be time for a new lower shift cable, too.
