I am up against some medical issues that are preventing me from working on the boat and I’m having a hard time finding any reasonably qualified service where we base in Crisfield, MD.

We bought the boat in FL last summer and brought it up the ICW with no issues. The boat runs great, oil and zincs were changed in Nov just prior to winter haul out. It was In FL so there are some minor cosmetic things and the bilge could use a good cleaning. Interior is in good shape. The FL sun did a numbwr on the interior wood trim so I removed the trim, stripped and varnished over the winter. Salon carpet was also not great, so I removed it. Just need to make a template and bind a new carpet which I plan to do. Here is a short list of what it has….

QSC 500’s with 1500 hours. Stbd engine ECM was replaced about 500 hours ago. PO had turbos and after coolers replaced in 2022. engines surveyed fine but I had a diesel tech give them a once over before the trip north. He replaced a boost sensor and did a raw water flush.

9KW genset runs great.

There is a water maker on board that needs a new membrane. I was going to remove it.

I had Constant issues with the vacuflush heads so I had them re-laced with electric heads before leaving FL. Environmental Marine did the job.

The bridge enclosure in EZ2CY glass and was done in 2022 by the PO. Bridge upholstery is in good shape. There is AC/heat on the bridge but the unit either needs service or replacing. It failed during the trip home. Electronics are Raymarine and work but are original to the boat.

The boat has a few weekend projects looming but nothing major and nothing preventing it from going anywhere. With my current medical issues my options are to wait till after I have back surgery and see if I can get enough mobility back to be able to take care of the boat….or sell it. My neurosurgeon recommends selling, which isn’t real encouraging.

The boat is on the hard in Crisfield, MD. All it needs to go back in the water is the bottom sanded and painted. I and highly motivated right now because I haven’t paid the slip fee for this year yet and have not done the bottom yet (and having a hard time finding someone to do it).

Im putting up here for $250k but also encouraging offers. It is not listed with a broker yet. If I still have it in another month or so, I will have to find a way to get the bottom done, pay the slip for the year, put it back in the water and list it with a broker. Obviously, a much better deal can be had before I do all that.

Boat is in Crisfield, MD on the hard and can be seen any time. I have a pre-purchase survey that was done last August that I can share. the two pics attached are recent. One in the slip in Crisfield taken last October and other in the slings during winter haul out.

Good luck with both the sale and the surgery! If that were a 500 at that price I'd be all over it :):)

Thanks guys. Here is a link to the survey photos. More than happy to share the survey privately via email as there is private info in it.

Just got your messages this morning. I listed the boat with a broker 2 days ago. We are taking it to Kent Island tomorrow. The broker will be showing it during the Kent Island Expo going on this month.

Bluewater, Hawk Ennis. He was my buyers agent when I bought the boat.

Bummer! I was hoping to go the private route and avoid the brokers.

Good luck with everything.
