We're doing another rendezvous in Charleston this year and everyone is invited. Traburne got us going with his post back in January, that has now gone 19 pages with discussions and plans. As the date approaches, and to really get the ball rolling, we felt we needed to start this new post.

The result is that this year's Charleston Rendezvous is over Memorial Day weekend. We'll start on Friday afternoon May 22, and finish on Sunday morning, May 24. The plan is to meet at an anchorage north of Charleston Friday afternoon late for a raft-up. For those who are game, we'll spend the night on the hook at the anchorage, and for others there are marinas close-by. Saturday is of course open to whatever you'd like to do. For those who are interested, we'll tour around the Charleston area by boat, and then for those who are up for it, we'll anchor out again Saturday night south of Charleston up the Stono River, where there will be a nearby marina for those who prefer shore facilities.
Weather and wind permitting, we'll have some quality time ashore on a local island Saturday. The beaches are broad and very nice, and there are shallows to enjoy without a lot of wave action. We'll have at least one dinghy to ferry folks ashore who don't wish to beach their boat.

For those of you who will be trailering in, I've arranged for you to be able to flush your engines out at the marina where I keep my boat before you leave. The marina is next to a public ramp with lots of parking, so it should be a good spot to launch and leave your vehicle and trailer.
Once you're a definite, PM me, and I'll send you more information. I think we've got 5 or 6 boats so far, and welcome more. There's lots to see and do in Charleston, and it'll be a great opportunity to meet fellow CSR members in the area, so join us if you can.
