How long was the wait from when you placed the order?View attachment 98585 2021 arrived in Baltimore Harbor today. Anyone looking for a mint condition 2018 in GT Silver with lots of options please PM me. Will become available in early February.
Placed the order on 10/02/2020. Car arrived in Baltimore port three days ago after the captain waited offshore a day or two waiting for the gale force winds and 17-25 foot seas to lay down. Car will arrive in West Michigan around 2/5/2021 once it's inspected at the port, the importation paperwork clears and it is loaded into a semitrailer. Not ideal timing, but my selling dealer would not promise me a car by spring time if I waited to place the order in December which is when I normally order cars. How long was the wait from when you placed the order?

Porsche does a good job protecting product in transit. Here are some pix of what the current car looked like when it arrived in Michigan.
I’ve been given roughly the same timeline for a new Taycan. Although this is the first time the sales guy has been pushing/strongly suggesting I order from the factory. This will the fourth he’s sold me, so I’m inclined to take his advice.
Are going with another Boxster?

I owned a lot of TTs starting with the very first model. When Audi stopped importing the TTS roadster to the US I bought the Boxter. Would still like to drive a 400 HP TTS roadster to see what it is like. Apparently roadsters did not sell well enough in this country to warrant going through the regulatory red tape for last model change.
Well they did have kind of a sparse trunk space. As I recall with the roof covers in the trunk there was barely enough space for two six packs.
Black with Aviator Grey leather on the left circa 2002? Ours was same color scheme 01.View attachment 98840 Nor exactly beautiful either, but fun to drive year round even in the snow.
Looking good. When do you pick it up? Is the PDK available on the Boxster? The P4S obviously only comes with it.
I didn't think I was going to like the PDK, but its kind of a wolf in sheep's clothing. In automatic mode (and especially normal) the shift points are really close together so that in town its quickly in 5th. In Sport+ it just never shifts beyond 2nd. In manual mode where you can run it up above 4500 it really changes character fast. Paddle shifters are cool too!
It looks like you also got the PDLS+ headlights. They are unbelievable. You are going to love them if you do any extensive driving at night. We're in the middle of the Great Salt Marsh and driving up to the boat we have to go across several large stretches of salt marsh. And the deer love the salt marsh in the summer. With the roadway up above the marsh, the four legged bastids love to pop across the highway out of nowhere. The lights have saved my butt more than once.
Post some more pics once you've taken off the gift wrapping.
