Anyone know how to increase the light output for the two under counter range lights on the 52SB boat? Can you just change the bulbs to something that greatly increases the light output. On ours you might as well strike a match to see if they are even on. Looks like a very greyish or light blueish amount of light. Admiral needs more light so hope someone has already been down this road and I'm sure it's on some other model Sea Rays as well.

have you looked in LED bulbs.a friend of mine did his cabin/galley lights and it made a huge difference.

Mine where useless also so I "rebuilt them " using undercabinet led's that I cut the plugs off and used a dab of 4200 works like a charm.

Any chance you could give me some more info like fixture name & model number? Did you cut larger hole to install and I assume you wired the New fixtures to the old wiring then glued them in place. Any chance of a pucture of your fixtures installed with and without the lights on when you can as it would be greatly appreciated,

AJ, I removed the guts of the old fixtures and "4200" the new fixture inside the old one. They fit perfect. I installed new spade connectors and popped the fixtures back into place.
Just make sure you order the light with the flat face (some have a chrome ring) I don't think these would sit flat inside the fixture.
More like this one :

I am also thinking of replacing the closet lights with these LED's as the kids always leave the doors open. I bought them on ebay. Just check the measurements but they're all pretty much the same.
Sorry no pics right now I won't be at the boat till next week. Hope this helps.
