I've been a follower for quite some time, on and off again. It generally depends on how he's crewed (which is currently of high quality).

For a month or so now he's been running a 2000/2001 (I forget) 340DA down in Florida. Last night I watched a recent episode where he smoked his starboard side exiting a choppy marina, just forward of the engine room vent. The damage was painful to see on what appears to be an otherwise sharp 340. I was bummed he didn't share any video of the mishap.

Allegedly he took another boats anchor to the gunnel. I guess he's lucky he didn't get into the vent based on how difficult those are to find/replicate.

Ouch:

Yeah I watch this one - can’t figure how Bobby gets his “crew” and what the relationship ship there is. I have enjoyed the latest episodes with the 340.

I'm sure being a slave to social media has it's pros and cons. Who he's bunking with in that 340 V-berth is certainly a pro :)

I saw that one. Guy seems like a perv to me though.

i'll check it out, i watch lots of sailing ones even though i've never set foot on a sailboat, primarily because they're the most popular and in turn have the best production value

It's a pretty simple recipe but I think Bobby must have been one of the first to figure it out and fully exploit it, creeper or not.

Trying to understand why he is so popular is like trying to understand how a bikini thread on a boating forum has more posts than all of our model-specific threads combined :)
