Have any of you ever added 2 more speakers in the arch of your 340? I was thinking of adding 2 more JL's. Maybe the 770's in the current hole and moving the 650's up a little. Just thinking.

So has anyone added additional speakers to help with volume and quality while swimming behind a 340? If so, what and where? Been contemplating doing so, but not sure what would work best.
The most efficient means to get music behind the boat is going to be a tranom mounted speaker or a tower pod mounted to the arch. In these scenarios, we like to setup some form of zone volume control for the main cabin and rear projecting speakers. This allows you to dial down the main cabin when you want to crank the rear projecting speakers. So has anyone added additional speakers to help with volume and quality while swimming behind a 340? I have 4 JL 7.7s in my arch plus 4 behind the speaker grills behind the captain's chair, 2 in front of the rear bench and 2 on the transom. 2 JL 10" subs. Sounds great!
I have a volume control on the transom speakers so I can turn them off when at the dock.

Transom speaker get cut in much like you would mount a speaker on the interior. You need an area thats flat enough for the speaker and access behind it.
