Burgee's

I'll vote for Navy and Gold and Richards suggestion of 2 basic sizes.

Will the logo be only on one side or on both sides? If it's embroidered, then it can probably only be one sided correct?

Dave, read the first post on this. Sorry the devil made me do it. :smt043

Is anyone counting the votes... :smt017...no hanging chads please...

Nolan........That's what I get for getting up so early and being half asleep when posting a reply. :smt119 :smt119

Thats ok, we all know stuff happens from time to time.

That's what happens to you when you buy a cruiser and become a big boat guy. And have to choose which size burgee you need.

Hey...you're going off topic here....

Since on the forum we have "Sport Boats, Spoat Cruisers & Sport Yachts/Yachts", seems to me that the size question has already been answered. What do you all think? I think we have enough different size boats of members of this forum that we need to go with 3 sizes. IMHO.

I'm from the "one size fits all" school. If we over-complicate this, the burgees will never get done. I would rather have a smaller one on my boat then one that overwhelms the bow! Just my $.02.

OJ,
Thank you for the compliment. Seems to me almost all of the burgees I have seen are about the same size...maybe 8 or 10 inched high and maybe 14 to 16 inches long. The old SRO burgees we had several years ago seemed to work for just about all boats.

Your Welcome, Frank. That seems like a good size to me.

My final answer is Black background, Gold trim & White lettering on the size burgee that Impulse III suggests.

Look forward to the final product. :smt038

Hmmmm, some say Navy/Gold, some say Black/Gold. I heard a suggestion in there too for nautical colors. I am a big fan of the nautical colors, but liked the designers idea of black/gold with a silver logo because those colors seem to go well with all Sea Rays. For a long time gold trim was popular, now silver trim is popular. Black/White might look good. All white would be BORING. Any members want to throw up some designs? Think we have enough interest to do 100 of these? Thats how many I need to buy to get a high quality all-sewn burgee. Should come in around $20.

Something like this except switch to the logo instead of the block CSR.

Here's one to throw into the voting pool (very bad paint drawing). It has all the colors we've talked about....
