Cabin Door lower key lock

Just got a 2023 Sundancer 320 was wondering what the key lock at the bottom of the cabin door does. Door lock is the on the button of the handle. A different key fits the one near the floor that I can't figure out what it does.

I think this must be to unlock the cabin door when it is locked on the inside however I don’t know how to lock the door from the inside. Any insight appreciated

Just making a guess here - but based on it's location... does it lock the door in the open position?

Is there anything in your manual about it?

Congratulations on your purchase. Not sure what lock this is, sounds like something searay has added. A picture would really help. Since you bought it from the dealership I would ask the sales guy who sold it to you. Most dealerships will be delighted to answer your questions since they want to keep you coming back. Congrats again.

Dealership did not know either. They are supposed to be finding out for me. Seems more like a release than a lock as it only turns about a quarter turn with the key in. I will take a picture this weekend.

Dealer got back to me. You turn turn the key then pull the lock out. It is attached to a cable that will release the latch should the push button fail.
