Check out Lazy Daze on one ski

+1 on style, I used to use same technique back in the day when I still was young and flexible….hahaha. :)

I haven’t been able to get up
On one for a few years, I can get up on 2 and drop a ski. He looks like he is much better shape than me tho.

Grew up on a lake. I wish wakeboards were invented back then. My buddy and I skied all summer for all our teenage years. We could both start out of the water backwards on trick skis and would bring people out on the docks to watch us show off. I was goofy and was mad my buddy could out sheet (what we called the wall of water turning) me towards the houses as we circulated counterclockwise around the lake. We'd put walls of water up on our turns. When we skied doubles, the guy on the short tow rope would jump the long cutting across the wakes. Never mastered barefoot.

Back when I was young my buddies and I would spend all weekend every weekend at the lake drinking beer, chasing bikinis and skiing behind my Mariah. The last time I was up on pair of ski’s my back was sore for two weeks.

I will be 65 this September. I can get up on one ski the first time. Not too bad for an old fuck. First picture is me getting up.

Better than me. Last time I got up on one ski was 2019. Since then I added forty pounds. I need to get myself in gear but my wife had some debilitating medical issues and I had to spend a lot more time at home. Maybe if I stop making excuses and cut down on the alcohol I can get my ass back in shape.

I'm goofy in a LOT of ways! :)

That reminds me (blatantly obvious)... I need to work on one-handed the turns and lay over harder. I always felt I was missing out on something by not doing that.
