Hi there.

I recently moved to a new city where they do not allow roof coverings on our boat docks / lifts (Sarasota, FL).

So since my boat is now going to need to wear a boat cover daily, I'm looking for an efficient way to fully cover a 2016 Sundeck 270 with an outboard motor.

It has a wide base tower (photo below) which is an obstacle.

I have the factory cover, but I'm trying to find an alternative to having to snap it on and off every day. Any thoughts? first hand experience?

Thank you!

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried them. They quoted me $17,000 which is more than i'm willing to spend for that.

Maybe even a good quality, non-snap cover that someone may be using for theirs?

The factory also makes (well, it's made for them, so you could probably buy it direct given the age of your boat) a full cover that secures with a ratchet strap in the hem (no snaps). Time-wise, though, it's roughly the same amount of time to put it on - as is pretty much any cover you manually put on - nothing is going to "hands off and easy" unless you look at something like what Blueone suggested. However, maybe you just need to put the cover on/off more and get used to it since it really doesn't take all that much time.

I also recently moved to St Pete and having the same issue but Great Lakes boattop does not make a full mooring cover like i think u r looking for also..Am still looking but does not look promising. Will post again if I see anything promising.

Sure they do. That's the one I was referencing. They're just not doing retail sales right now because they're so busy.

I have the factory mooring cover and the snap covers. Very good cover, but it takes a bit longer to put on than the snap covers.

Roll it up on a 2" x 2" x7' stick.
