Hello everyone. New to boats in general and I have a question. I have a 2011 Sea Ray 185 sport with a 4.3L engine. I started getting one beep about once a minute while coming in last week. I believe it is a low fluid warning since my gauges all looked good. Is there a diagram somewhere that shows me where all the fluids are located so I can check them. I checked the gear lube and it's good. I know where the oil is and I believe it's good. It was good before I went out the day before so I imagine it's still good. As far as I know that leaves the trim fluid and power steering fluid. Any idea's where these are located and how to check them? Or if this beep could mean something else?
Thanks,
Scott

Power steering is just like it is on a car - belt driven. The power trim pump is in the back corner of the bilge. However, neither of those are monitored.

Do you have a fuel injected or carb'd engine? If carb'd - the only thing that kicks an alarm on is low oil pressure, high engine temp and low drive fluid. If guages are good and drive fluid is full, you could have a stuck drive fluid float (easy enough to check) or a flaky pressure or temp sensor. Even a piece of an old impeller caught in the t-stat housing could cause it (false overheat). You can also disconnect the drive fluid wire to get that out of the mix.

It has a carburetor. Is the drive fluid wire right by the reservoir?

I was on and off plane a lot. I was tubing with 3 kids all under 140 pounds. 2 on the raft 1 spotter. While idling to the slip it didn't happen at all.

Seems to happen only when the boat is jolted, hits a wave hard. Only did it twice on Saturday. Fluids are good. Trim fluid might be a little low.
