Mornin'. I'm new to the site, so constructive criticism will be appreciated.
I am removing my gimbal ring due to a broken part. I've taken all off down to the lower pin (the hardened one with the cotter pin) which refuses to be "persuaded" out. I have even gone so far as to cut away all of the gimbal ring down to that pin, and it still won't budge. No amount of "rust buster" or other corrosion breaker has helped. I'm afraid of pounding too hard for fear of breaking the ears that hold the pin. (And breaking that (I'm told) will require engine removal... hope not to have to do that) Any ideas?
Thanks Doug
