I took my fam to Grand Isle yesterday to do some socially distant fishing. We haven't left the house in 2+ weeks. It was time to get out for a few.
The water is high...wicked high for April. It's about where it was last July +/- when it peaked. They have sandbagged all of the electrical boxes and are running small sump pumps to keep the water out.
I just don't see how they keep the power on if we go up another 10". I don't really care about walking through water to get places around the marina. But no AC on the boat in July/August would dramatically change how we use the boat.
Ughh....
