Heres a good question about Glass (I can't spell the "E" word)

Well once again this weekend we got caught in the rain. Torrential rain. Good part about it is that when we got back to the dock next morning, we were forced to "clean" the boat!!!! So now at least the boat is clean.

This season we have been caught out there too many times in the rain, so one thing I did yesterday was chat with our canvas folks, they happened to be on the dock. They are going to fashion a dash cover so at least I can keep my dash and instruments dry.

Okay my E-glass question. Anyone know of any one that offers an alternative to E-glass? I guess our next boat will have real windows that are up all the time. I'd leave the E-glass up all year if they were clearer to see through and not as delicate to scratch.

Any suggestions???
