.She deserves some TLC for sure
Well the dealer performed the compression and leak down test and the Surveyor did the Seatrial. His notes on the O/D I found funny.Wait, no seatrial?
But didn't you say you did a compression test on the engine? Can you do that without running the engine?
Surveyor said:"Have a qualified technician inspect the outdrive and make adjustment or repairs as found necessary. Clean to birght metal and represerve in accordance with good marine practice.
The purpose of seatrial is to ensure that the engine runs, can make full RPM, and doesn't overheat. A surveyor isn't interested in tooling around in the boat any longer than necessary to determine the mechanical condition of the boat.Yes, the dealer has assessed that the engine is just fine. The risers(which the surveyor found to be leaking ~which we already knew) will be replaced in the FWC add and a couple motor mounts.
