Brandon and Eric Adams are claiming illegal guns are the reason for the massive increase in gun crimes, not the soft on crime DAs. Really? Are there that many more illegal guns on the streets? I guess people don't kill people, guns do....:rolleyes:

Also, you can order a piece of plastic that looks similar to a pistol frame for $100: https://www.polymer80.com/ drill some holes, cut off some tabs (takes about 30 minutes) and you have a pistol frame without a serial number. This is federally legal, and legal in most states.

Pistols, long guns, ARs - zero registered. If you buy it from a FFL your info goes on a 4473, but that's it.

If you buy it used, person to person in Indiana, there is no record of that transaction. You just need to sell it to a "proper person" and to most that means verifying they are a resident of Indiana (by looking at their drivers license) and that they have their LTCH (proving they are a proper person)...

Criminals have always had access to guns. I think it's more the mentality of society today. We had riots where cities were being taken over and destroyed and leaders said it was ok and the police were not allowed to intervene so now the thought is that they can do what they want cause the police are powerless. Just like the 2 year old that throws a temper tantrum. You let him get away with it and now they know if they want something they just throw another tantrum.

Personally if there weren't so many states/counties defunding the LEO's then there wouldn't such a problem. But you know LEO's are a problem they arrest criminals and that's not allowed in the newly formed WOKE agenda. Pretty sad state we are all in, guns are the only thing that will save this situation, as crazy as that sounds. JMO.

If everyone (U.S Citizen's with background check) had a carry permit and always had a gun on them, the criminals would know that and would think twice. There probably would not be as much crime. ...

And to your point...notice most mass shootings are at places where it's unlikely there will be a good guy there with a gun?

For the record, do not prosecute or jail 2-year olds. When they get out in a few years, crime will increase exponentially.

No but you correct a 2 year old, not let them get away with it. Not talking about beating a child either in case anyone wants to go there. Have 4 kids and none ever got smacked other than a tap on the behind occasionally but take away toys or play time. Worked great for our kids. The ones out there rioting were the ones rewarded for the tantrums
 
The question to ask is what’s the government’s end game? This is all intentional. Eliminating bail, cameltoe Harris coordinates funding for bail in other states, it’s all by design.

To what end? It’s causing me to reconsider buying a hand gun so that’s not what the commie bastards want is it? A crazy Cuban with a hand gun?

Yes it is, but there are significant restrictions, namely you personally can not sell it, or give it away (even to a relative as a gift). That’s fine for you, or me, but does pose problems for law enforcement because none of the parts are serialized and everything can be bought without going through a FFL on the internet with just a credit card. And as the old car insurance commercial used to go, “Even a caveman can do it!”. So the bar for a person with no legitimate access to a gun (felon, underage, unqualified for a license in a license state, etc.) is now ridiculously low.

I personally don’t get the attraction for Polymer80 projects; the end result is a Gen 3 pistol in a Gen 5 world for about the same money.
