M-Y Wedge

Has anyone used the m-y wedge (m-ywedge.com) instead of a transom saver? It looks like a good idea but I'm not sure about only using one. I'm worried there would be a twisting force on the outboard. I'm thinking of using two to make sure the force is evenly distributed.

That's put over the tilt ram which is in the center of the bracket. Works fine.

FYI... Often times, a 2x on it's side can be placed just right between the two halves of the bracket. Or use a 2x or PVC pipe on end. Lot's of options.
