Ive been thinking about cooking on board and definately want to add a grill at some point. I could buy a magma and throw it on there but got to thinking... I can get a stainless grill for a hundred bucks at lowes. Maybe I could make a king starboard shelf and mount it on the boat with a grill mount. Then I could also set a butane stove or a Coleman stove on there if I wanted.
Magma makes a bait table similar to what I'm referring but not sure if its heavy enough. There is a place near me that sells king starboard (and that stuff isnt cheap as I recall). I need to find out if it can stand up to grill temperatures
There is a small socket mount on my boat now, on the starboard side, from a previous owner but I'm thinking the fuel tank vents over there and having a grill 4 feet away from a fuel vent can't be a good idea.
Other than melting the table, any reason this wouldnt work?
