My Lowrance 3500 depth display has gone bad and I would like to replace the display and not the transducer and wiring for a new unit. Please let me know if you have one you would like to get rid of.

If you can't find one, since the 3500 has been out of production for some time, you may be able to talk to Lowrance and see if one of their newer gauges would work with the current transducer.

I have seen 3500s on ebay cheap on occasion.

Tried that two years ago when ours went south. The 3500 and other older Lowrance depth finders used a unique frequency for the transducer. Since then the marine industry (along with Lowrance) apparently standardized on another frequency. So the old transducer is not compatible with anyone's display, including newer Lowrance. Additionally, Lowrance no longer supports the 3500, i.e. no parts, no repairs, no help. The only good news is that at least the hole in the hull is the same size as standard Airmar transducers.
