hi all, new to forum. i have a 2000 3375 and the forward bilge runs constantly. while in dock the "forward" bilge will run for 10 minutes than stop for 5 minutes than run again. an inspection of the fore and aft bilges show no rising water. the bilge only runs while on shore power, or when the genset is on. while anchored activating the bilge switches on the helm produces no results. i run the genset and the pump runs constantly while anchored. the owners manual says i have 2 bilge pumps but neither are operating at the time. i have been over every inch of the boat and can't find another bilge or pump. after a day on the water when i return to the dock and plug in, the bilge will run for several hours non-stop. pretty sure the boat will sink if there is an extended power outage while docked. not sure what to do, please help.

I'm thinking this is his first boat with AC?

I just read this to my wife and asked her what she thought it was! She immediately started laughing and said "his a/c's are running...duhhh" She's blonde and has zero mechanical ability...lol This is great!

Last summer while we were sitting at a local sandbar (for an hour or so) I had on older scruffy guy walk up to my wife and I and said "boy, your boat has been taking on a lot of water". We both looked like what the heck is he talking about. He then says "your bilge has been running for solid for over an hour". Same thing, he thought the genny and A/C were the bilge pump. I looked at my wife after he left and said geez, good thing we weren't taking on water because it only took this guy an hour or so of watching it to come over and let us know.

I just got a call from the Marina this week saying that the blow boat beside me said I was bilging alot. They called back 2 minutes later laughing after they checked it out. A/C

Last week I had a new owner on our dock call about my boat pumping lots of water. He was a little annoyed that they didn't call me. After I explained it was the A/C, he said his A/C at home doesn't do that.

What a dork! Funny though!

My little boat friends have asked about the water running out of my boat...
