Does anyone know where to locate the AC water pump relay box on the 400EC ('93)?
My forward stateroom AC is not switching the pump on and off, the salon AC is working just fine.
fuses are under the helm station. behind hinged door, well marked. remember to check all grounds.Anyone know where the shower sump pump power is feed from? My pump stopped working but when I checked, I also don't have power at the factory wiring. I ran temporary wire for power and ground to test the pump. It ran but then blew a 25 amp fuse. So I am figuring it had already blew a fuse or thermal breaker on the factory wiring, but I can't trace where it goes. Anyone know?
Hello Everyone,
I wanted to share some information with everyone on this thread as opposed to placing in the for sale thread. I have a rather large collection of 400EC parts I want to get rid of. I’ve done some extensive upgrades to my 1994 400EC and have old but nice condition things someone else could benefit from. List below:
Updated 7/13/17
1. Original dash Burl Wood laminate top piece only with round gauges
3. Salon bar stools complete 2x
5. Norcold OEM freezer door. Complete with hinges/cream insert
6. OEM Clarion stereo, 6201CD changer & cable, Complete Dash Remote Control Module & cable, and 2 speakers
All the stuff is pretty specific to our boats and am willing to let go cheap or swap for something you have.
Yes they are but I have no pictures at the moment. Text me and I'll take some.

Trying to learn my new-to-me 400EC. Not sure if my battery setup is factory or not, but I have 5 total batteries. Three on the starboard side which I believe is the cranking and house batteries. I have two on the port side, of which one is for the generator I assume. And then assuming all of this is correct, I have no idea what the remaining battery is for. Suggestions?
Yes it is factory. My '97 had the same setup. Never did find out what that extra battery was for. Could be part of the emergency start circuit. A few years ago I ran all season without connecting the hot side to that one. Never missed it. I didn't discover that it was never connected that year until I was winterizing in the fall.
That's interesting. It isn't easy to trace as everything goes into pipes or looms, but I want to figure it out. Not sure how THIS emergency start is wired, but typically the emergency start switch just allows the port cranking battery to also crank the starboard motor. There's not typically an additional battery involved. Since you didn't miss having it, I wonder if it just adds power to the house bank?
