Pandora, Spotify, SiriusXM, Amazon Music, etc. which do you use and why?

It's been my experience so far with SiriusXM it's better for long periods of time, not short where you just want to listen to a few songs.

Agreed, if I’m in the car 20 minutes a week now it’s a lot that’s why I like it on the boat pretty much an hour at least when we go out. Classic Rewind is a go to as well Van Halen and Bruce.

I tried the SiriusXM promo for 3 months. I can see the value on the boat, and maybe at home, not so much in the car since I do short trips. It's $24/month to subscribe. I said No, it went down to $13.99, I said No, it went down to $7.63/month (total with fees). They said I could pay annually, and save, get this, 22 cents :)

Funny you mention it. Its renew time for our XM. Was 245 for my car. 207 for wife. I loved it when i drove over an hour to work. Now retired, aint in car more than 10 mins at time.
So wife called today. Got hers down to $87 for year, cancelled mine as of 5/1.
Anyone wanna bet in next 2 weeks they be blowing me up offering me dirt cheap rate to stay?

That's how they roll. I think I'm in it for about $7.50 (with taxes and fees) for each one of our rides...but I just hit 173k on my '20 company car (new '23 hasn't shipped from the plant yet - it was built 2 months ago!)....so it's worth every penny to me...

Wife got $7.25 total a month. And its her Christmas present, little delayed. So it used to cost me $207 for her Christmas present. Now its $87! Oh yeah, im a dog, enough left over to buy Janet Rossi a nice present.
Anybody get the reference?

M Rob, final outcome? You sign? For a year? Monthly cost? Or just pay full year up front? How much?
I did monthly, wasn't interested in saving 22 cents and signing up for a year. The guy was all excited and said they offer an annual subscription for a discount. When he gave me the number and I told him I'd be saving 22 cents a year he kind of went yeah you're right.

$87 late Christmas gift for the wife, you're a big spender aren't you?

I don’t trust these clowns with a credit card and pay a little extra for a paper invoice. Pay for a year so if I want to cancel I don’t have to have a discussion with them.

311 Yacht Rock is good
I tried that for a while, but got infested with ear worms. I even mute their commercials because guaranteed, whatever song the promotion contains, will be bouncin' around my noggin for days.

I pay about $70 for the year, gets my work car, plus the app to use on the lake…. I like it

We just renewed. $65 a year for dads pick up and my mobile device that I have a dock in the boat, in my pick up and in the house. Plus we can stream on 4 or 8 devices (computer, phone and tablet). I've had Sirius XM for about 6 years now.

Late to the party but I use pandora when the kids are with. Mainly because it's edited. With the 5$ monthly subscription it will play your "most frequents" even with no cell or wifi connection. On the rare occassion it's just the wife and I on the boat then i will use Amazon music(we have service on 95% of the lake)FYI, Amazon doesn't play anything if there's no service. Although, Amazon let's u play their music as well as your own library. Pandora is strictly their music.

it’s the train Trestle bridge at shelbyville Lake (illinois)

One of my favs, we used to jump off of it in my younger days

Cool. I have lived in St. Louis my whole life and didn't know anything about Shelbyville lake. Looked it up and it looks like a great place. Hijack ended.

I use Spotify because my kids use it and pay for a subscription.
