I have been researching these 38's from as are yard was looking for us to take a 2003 in a swap for my 32 cuddy Cabin whaler that;s for sale. They would give me a credit for the Sea Ray of $169,000 in mint condition. You may want to talk with your broker and check to see if yours is way over market right now as the market has crashed. We have also been looking at 41 Meridians 2004 models and they have dropped below $300,000. This is just a friendly note, nothing more. Happen to see your listings. Good Luck.

I was not fully able to comprehend what you are getting at with your post but a 2003 38 will definitely cost a little less than an '04. Also depends on engines, hours, equipment and a host of other factors. A trade-in credit of $169 on an '03 seems about right. Trade-in value for an '04 is probably $185. Retail Value is right at what this boat is asking. BTW, its bad internet etiquette to crap on somebody's classified ad :smt009 even if there was any merit to your comments. Jim....the first line...sold in Mo...does it show a location in Missouri? A guy on my dock bought an 2004 380DA(in April or May)...but I didn't think he paid quite that much for it.

The reporting is obviously not accurate for that boat. Many brokers dealers will report the selling price to be the same as the asking price to falsely inflate the market.
