Just curious to know if after you replaced your factory carpet, did you go back with the snaps or eliminated that and did industrial strength velcro?
Reason I'm asking is, I never did get new snaps installed on mine because I didn't like the humps that the snaps leave on the footprint of the carpet edges. I'm thinking about just removing the male ends that are screwed into the cockpit floor and filling the holes with a little 5200 and then strategically placing some industrial strength velcro on the backs of the new carpet and let it lay flat.
What do you guys think?
