Take a pic of the boat end of the black cord so we can see what you are working with

In response to my asking if you could post a picture of what you have on your boat, you posted two pictures.
1. A (yellow) female 30 Amp twist lock receptacle.
2. A male 15 amp plug.
Does that mean you have a (yellow) female 30 amp receptacle mounted on the side of your boat? That isn’t typical.
If that’s the case, That could be a part of your problem. There should be a 30 amp male mounted on the side of your boat.
Does the shorepower cord you used at your previous marina have males on both ends?
Is it possible a previous owner installed a female instead of a male on the side of the boat by mistake or for some unique reason?
You may want to swap the female receptacle on the boat for a proper male with a flip down cover.
That will enable you to use a standard 30 amp shore power cord. You would connect the female end of the cord to your boat, and the male end to the receptacle on the dock.
If the dock doesn’t have a 30 amp receptacle, then you could use the Marine 30-20 adapter I posted in an earlier reply.
If the picture of the yellow receptacle you posted is not a picture of what is mounted on the side of your boat, then if you can take a picture of what is on the side of your boat we can probably help you better.
You got it, I think that's the right way to go. ThxIf the plug mounted to the boat is a male twist lock and the power cord end is a twist lock female you good to there. The other end of your power cord should have had a 30A twist lock . Remove the standard 110v blade type and wire in a 30A twist lock. Just remember it`s Black to Brass ans White to Silver, Green to Ground screw that should be green
I have a good 30a cord with the pigtail, PM me if interested.

thread. The last owner must have changed the boat end to fit the 20 amp female plugWhat you're describing I've never seen.... Typically it's a straight 3 prong outlet 20A at the dock and a round 30A plug from the boat...

Looks like I need s20-30 dock and replace boat plug with a 30 amp female locking.thread. The last owner must have changed the boat end to fit the 20 amp female plug
It looks like I need a S20-30 for shore and replace boat cord end with a 30 amp round connector. The black, 3-prong 15a plug can't be the boat side. If so, you have some sort of Frankenstein's monster setup.
Are you sure your cord is one piece... as opposed to having an adapter in there? FYI, that yellow cord/connector is a 20a connector.
BUT... Let's stop running around in circles here. Forget about what "came with the boat". What does your boat have for a connection and what does the marina have for a connection? Those are the only two pieces of the puzzle you need to focus on. Get the proper cord for your boat, then get whatever adapter you need to hook into the dock.
Is it possible that this boat didn’t originally have shorepower and someone added it?It looks like I need a S20-30 for shore and replace boat cord end with a 30 amp round connector.
Get yourself the proper 30 amp male receptacle with cover and install it on your boat then go from there.
You may be right!IF the wiring on the boat is rated for 30a service and everything is installed correctly. At this point, who knows what the PO did... he could of just used a Home Depot, orange electrical cord to run power throughout the boat!
