I have a Sea Ray 290 bowrider with twin 350 magnums. The boat has Smartcraft and I am getting a PITOK error on both engines. I asked the mechanic and he did not know how to clear the error, but checked over the boat and there are no issues. Any suggestions?

What does your boat use for the speedometer input?

If your boat doesn’t use the Pitot sensors for the speedometer input, you will always have those errors.

And... is your speedometer properly displaying speed?

Usually, some of the error codes contain CKT for which typically means a sensor is closed (circuit high, or CKT HI, orcircuit open, CKT LO, preceded with the sensor name, water pressure, IAC, pitot sensor, etc. I have not seen a PITOK...

Fairly sure that is a standard default for the speedometer and you can shut it off in the configuration.

I finally got down to the Lake of the Ozarks to check out the information you guys provided. First off you are correct, it is Pitot ckt error code. The speedometer works fine; but I could not figure out how to shut the error code off in the configuration. Thoughts?

Thanks for everyone's input.

Can you answer the question that I posted in post #2?
