Looking at replacing my carpet with marine foam flooring. Does anyone have a template they could share. 2000 400 Sedan Bridge

You'll want to make your own. There could be minor differences from one boat to another. Besides, not everyone makes a "good" or "accurate" template... you don't want to take a chance. Even with buying through a place like a SeaDek - don't chance it - those templates can be wrong as they're templates that Joe Schmoe made for his boat. Besides, making a template isn't rocket science - it just takes a little time.

I ordered the templates from SeaDek to make my templates to send to Corinthian for my flooring. They come in large rectangular sheets of plastic that you will need to cut out. I found that the SeaDek templates were spot on. I would suggest ordering the templates and confirming they fit before making an entire set of templates on your own. Don't reinvent the wheel if you don't have to.

I have made my own templates with heavy sheet plastic from HD. Trace it out, cut it out, check fit, and mail. I did my own so I could have the "wall to wall" effect and eliminate as many of the cracks around the edges that catch crap.....I will always do my own.

This is a good idea. If it's not "spot on", you can make the changes directly on the plastic sheet.

It's more common than one might think to find the templates to be off - I've done about a dozen or two of these and it's more likely than not to be off. But at least by ordering that SeaDek template, you're "most of the way there".

The template is a good idea. My cockpit was done from plasdek’s pattern and was spot on for everything except the rear bench seat. That gets added after the boat is built and I had to move it over about 3/4” to make everything perfect. Of coarse then had to patch the old screw holes.

To patch the old screw holes, take some 1-2" painters tape and punch holes in it with a single hole punch. Line up the hole with the hole in the floor and then fill the hole. The "hole punch" hole is same size as the hole in your floor. I used MarineTex to fill. It worked out perfect.

That’s a good tip. The attachments for the bench seat are in the back wall of the cockpit. One of those situations where to blend it in the holes need to be beveled, filled and feathered out. The spectrum patch paste is just about a perfect match so it makes it impossible to see the repair. Definitely easier than making templates for my case as it turned out.
I just filled the snap holes in the floor for the old carpet with epoxy. It’s all covered with the plasdeck.
