This would be fun to have on our boat

Now that is an awesome toy. Beats drone for sure.
 
Since my experience with the drone from this past NE Flotilla I've been researching the drones as I'm looking for a more stable image and better functionality. My current drone is about 4 years old. They have come a long way since. The big push now is for a more stable image and higher resolution video and stills. Longer battery life is also a must. The "follow me" feature is what most manufacturers are trying to perfect by using more satellites for better gps lock.
 
That's is cool... Too bad it doesn’t ship until August 2016 though. I would pre-order now but they process the payment immediately and there’s no guarantee they will be in business a year from now. Cool idea though.
 
I contacted Lily cam and they said they wouldn't be shipping to the UK in 2016...so I'm stuffed...I really like this one, so I will wait and see what happens to the company.
 
Cool as long as there are no obstructions anywhere nearby.

I don't like that it doesn't have any kind of collision avoidance system. With my luck, it would run itself into a tree.
 
Affordable... ha. We're boaters :)
 
I have the DJI Phantom 2 and like it. Only one splash down so far. Good thing I use styrofoam on the landing gear. I only lost the battery after it finally dried out.
