Trailer pole guides

I seen a lot of seasoned boaters down here have them, I was the only one at the boat ramp to not have them. How much should this cost? Obviously I don't know and is it east to install myself with a boat on the trailer?

When we had a 27' pontoon, they were critical for hitting the trailer correctly, could not see the end of the trailer, once I installed them, and side bunks on the inside of the toons, it was very easy to load. With a V hull boat, I really do not see the need, the boat centers up nicely if you are anywhere close. If you decide to install them it is very easy, and I would have the boat on the trailer to get the adjustment correct.

I added some to my 185 Sport trailer last year. The boat centers nicely, as noted, if you have the trailer at the perfect depth. I load and unload myself and the guides help get it right regardless of the depth.

I installed mine (bunks, not poles) in about 15 minutes with the boat on the trailer. The kit uses two U bolts to attach the arms to the trailer frame.

Do you have a link where you bought them. I don't like buying on amazon because they have some very generic stuff that don't work properly or you need to fix, like I had to splice and solder a different connector for my head lamp fixture for my car. However, if you bought it online and had a link I would go with that one : )

Your boat loads very easily on the trailer - assuming you still have the Sea Ray trailer which is about as close to custom as you can get without the cost. I wouldn't rush to spend the money on guide poles (which you can easily get from a local store). Just because others have it, doesn't mean you need it, right?

I didn't watch the video because it's like watching someone show you how to add 2+2 But, the poles don't need to roll - although they will a little bit, sometimes.

It now cost 62.99 but It was 57.99 got it on sell and it was worth it I used it today the right way
