As of today I have two numbers for Sea Ray customer support. Since last year, they weren’t helpful like they used to be. I tried calling both numbers for the past week and they are not working. Anybody have any idea what’s going on? These are the numbers I called
(865) 971-6250
(321) 449-8628
None of these numbers are working. The last time I spoke to them was in May 2023, since then, I cannot get through it all.

i also have:
865-522-4181

Haven't called in a while. I have heard they are good at email responses fwiw.

Searay in Seattle has a parts desk on Lake Union with 2 humans and a computer that says the customer is replacing that again! Volunteer to help. Wow!

I don't believe that they offer support direct to customers any longer for older models. They are driving you to local Sea Ray dealers & they support the dealers

Anyone know if IT incident is resolved?

This seems right. I inquired about the gel coat color so I could order from spectrum. They sent me to my local dealer who was of little help. I had to guess from input here.

Definitely feels like a ransomware attack......

This just doesn't surprise me anymore. Brunswick as a corporation.....like so many others......just fail to grasp whether or not their critical systems should be accessible via the internet. I'm speculating their back office systems have been locked up and that their backups are on line and have been encrypted as well.

Colonial Pipeline, Beneteau and Luressen just to mention a few....just learn the lesson the hard way.

Just dumb.....like Zeus drives and outsourcing Sales to MarineMax.

Does sea ray even make parts for their old models?

SR does not care a bit about the customers that kept them in business for 70 years. They are focused on selling 23 foot bow riders for 7.5K.
Fark them, let them go bankrupt. Enough used on the market to last my lifetime.

I would be curious the % of parts which are actually Sea Ray manufactured versus OEM sourced. Any guesses?
I would guess that if it’s fiberglass, it’s sea Ray. If it’s not, it’s from a supplier.

More true than not. Once upon a time they were awesome to work with and worked pretty closely with suppliers under strict NDAs. We provided laminate to them a long time ago and once their dealer supplies exhausted......they gave direct referrals to us rather than restocking more material at Dealers. Dealers could still order from us directly for their customers.

Then came an endless change in management and the outsource of Sales to MarineMax. In my view.....that was the beginning of the end of a great product line. I get that the advice they got was not from people who knew boats but really hoped an adult would set it back on course.

That didn't happen and Brunswick discontinued Sea Ray operations on its balance sheet and tried to sell the company. That failed and now based on the advice of MBAs and Marine Max....they will never make a boat over 40' again.

I'm sad about it....but they never asked a vendor for input. Arguably..... they never asked a customer.
