Hey Folks, sorry if this is in here somewhere, boat gets here Friday and first thing I want to do is repair the fuel sender, I have the part but was checking to see if what I read is accurate, “access is under the aft berth cushion” any insight is appreciated, also I can’t seem to find where I would enter a search for just within this thread. I’ve got a post called “New to the Group” in the “Who’s Who “ Forum
Forgot to ask, if anyone has a fridge shelf from you old fridge, I’ll buy it. Mine is missing but the fridge works great so don’t want to replace it right away.
Thanks!
Jon
Thank you sir! You are a scholar and a gentlemanpull the mattress up in the aft cabin and you’ll see a white inspection plate with 6 screws, right under there

Yes, please post the link for the actuator. I nee one as wellDo you happen to have the link to what you purchased. I need the same thing. Happened the day of my sea trial and when i purchased last week as well. Funny how these things die as soon as you purchase.
i thnik i fixed mine, took it all apart, its really easy. My issue was the contact tracks inside the tube portion, there are three that run down the length of tube. I think a limit switch sort of. Cleaned and lubed gears in base and it worked on the bench in garage. We'll see how well it works on the boat.Do you happen to have the link to what you purchased. I need the same thing. No worries Jeff, the boat came Wednesday and is in her new home. I’m going to measure and see if the appliance guys can provide something close. Pictures to follow as we get more cleaning doneGirlygirl,
Sorry but your about 2 weeks late on the fridge parts. I sent to another member here for free when i replaced mine. Go to the for sale section of here and search. Might find one
So boat came Wednesday, splashed it and drove it to the marina about 30 min away going very slow. Fuel gage came to life but was erratic, set the new sender up without putting it in the tank and was getting very steady full/half/empty reading by moving the swing arm. Put it in the tank paying attention to the old one’s swing arm position and length. Now nothing pegged at empty. Pulled it back out and moved it, nothing. Put it (the new one) back in to fill the whole. Going to check continuity on wiring from tank to gage tomorrow. Big reason for the post, has anyone switched to the reed style sender? Seems much better built. If they're the same as a 97, you just need to find the wipers with the correct adapter in the box. Nothing special. Not marine specific, but I did get the kind that are wrapped in a rubber membrane for snow etc. I grabbed some at Wallyworld.Does anybody know where i can get the windshield wipers for the 98 290 or a part #. Mine were crap so for now i have a car set zip tied on but would like the proper ones. Thanks
Getaway, think you need 1 more pole to make a bakers dozen
