I don't like add excess stuff to my computer. Always seems to eventually bog it down. You can only say it so many times…. If they don’t want to hear a solution they never will
Yes. Keeps logging me off on my iPhone.
Well that’s my point… there is a solution but if you don’t like it you live with the ads. For what it’s worth nothing slows downI don't like add excess stuff to my computer. Always seems to eventually bog it down.
It's not the ads so much as the placement of them, right in the middle of the screen. Plus, now they are like 2-3 times larger than they used to be.
No it eventually slows down, as things become more data hogs. Every ad has to go thru the blocker.Well that’s my point… there is a solution but if you don’t like it you live with the ads. For what it’s worth nothing slows down
Nah, doesn't bug me. But, really this is the page I immediately click on after looking at notifications. No ads.You don't find that "hello fresh" ad in the middle of the screen a little obnoxious?

Adblock is a browser add on not a separate program like the antivirus programs. I’ve used it for years with no noticeable slowdown on my browsing. No it eventually slows down, as things become more data hogs. Every ad has to go thru the blocker.

Only side effect I know of is it makes you repeat yourself.Adblock is a browser add on not a separate program like the antivirus programs. I’ve used it for years with no noticeable slowdown on my browsing
BTW, I'm NOT INTERESTED in everyone's "work around" suggestions for dealing with this.....how about just making the site back to the success that it has always been?
That’s what I get, plus a 3-4 inch ad at the top and bottom of the page. 2 to 3 times the size they used to be.These ads are brutal. Here is my view - makes me not want to browse.

It's done that for quite a while now. Some servers steer CPU priority when daily backup activities occur and that greatly slows access; maybe that is what is happening. We did server backup (maintenance) before work in the early mornings so it didn't interrupt access. The site is still very very slow to load and post in the EST morning(s). In the afternoon it seems to fix itself and is very fast. What ever task(s) are running in the morning seem to bring this site to it's knees. Posting anything can take almost a minute or two to complete.
I am not sure what this means. There was never anything for "Silver Only"I was a sponsor for years. When they started the ask the captains section for sponsors only, unless you only had silver, that's when I decided that I wouldn't ever pay again.
Plus, it appears it's a problem for sponsors also.
It's the ask the captains section, available to gold and platinum only. I know the silver is only $25, but it's still a paying member, apparently you don't think the $25 means anything.I am not sure what this means. There was never anything for "Silver Only"
