1988 268 Sundancer

Going to sell this 268 , will post a For Sale ad here on CSR in a day or so.

Are you getting out for a while or going bigger or smaller? I would like to get a 18-20' Formula but seems like the older I get the less time I have of course it could be I'm just moving slower.
This is what I am trying to finish now, it's a 1970 C/10, I think an old F-1 would look good behind it.

Just cant use it right now , done boating for now , Pickup looking good , are you about done with it?

...I hate to see her go to but i just cant use her right now , someone will find this nice boat and use her

I know where you are coming from I did the same with my 242LS Formula after only using it for once a year for the last three years I owned her I felt it was better for someone to use it than letting it sit and start falling apart. I loved that boat had it over 10yrs, a lot of good memories single and married.. We all have seen beautiful boats turn to crap in a short amount of time from not being used. You have one of the nicest boats here I would put it above any new boat of the any size good luck on your sale you should get top dollar.

Just Me - Do you have it for sale yet? I thought maybe you got it in the water & changed your mind. :)

I'm ready to sell , i need to put an ad on CSR, I have it advertised around home. You ready for it?

She is now listed FOR SALE in the classifieds. In the Sundancer section:smt089

That ole girl is worth every penny. Hopefully someone on this site pics her up...

I'd have it if I had not already bought her twin.

What is the total weight of that rig as it sits on the trailer? What do you pull it with?

LK

I have not run it across the scale. I pulled it home from Cleveland with a half ton gmc with a 305. The folks i got it from towed it from Vermont to cleveland with a half ton Ford with no problems, But right after that i got a Dodge cummins 2500 . If your not going far a half ton will work, But i didnt like pulling it with a light pickup.

I've got the same boat with a single big block. Mine weights 9320# on the trailer.

Just me's is pretty close to the same weight...Maybe add another 400# or so because he has twins 4.3's.

Mine is on the road almost every weekend during the summer months. I trailer it 1-3 hours one way depending on if we are heading for Lake Huron or Lake Michigan. No way would I use a standard 1/2 ton truck for that kind of duty. I've been down that road and have replaced way too many transmissions...

Go heavy duty and you will be much happier.
