Considering installing a Trolomatic on my outdrive so I can troll for fish.
I contacted the maker of the product and he wasn't sure if it would work on a 25ft boat with a 454.
Has anyone tried it???
Looking for advice and suggestions for putting on all the accessories to my engine.

My water tank became bulbous with the water pressure on it.
When I took the water inlet cap off the side of the boat, I had an explosion of water...

My dip stick shows that I have way too much oil in my engine. However, I noticed that the dip stick is extremely hard to push in, when there's about 4inches left to push in. It feels like I'm bending it in the bottom of the crank-case. I think I have the wrong size dip-stick.
Could someone with...

Boat is new to me as of Oct 2010. I would like to change the lower unit oil. If this is a Bravo 1 there should be a vent screw on the starboard side of the outdrive. right?
I have a drain plug at the very bottom of the skeg, but where is the vent skrew?
I removed my air filter last night.
1. What is the best way to clean it?
2. Do I need to spray it with oil or something before re-installing it?
thank you for your help

Thank you for any suggestion!!!!
