My port ignition switch at the helm is acting up. When the switch is hit, the fuel pump cycles and it clicks, but engine does not turn over. If I hit the switch a few times it will crank motor randomly. So sometimes it cranks, sometimes not. Any thoughts? Thank you!

I just replaced both engines and installed new tachs. The tachs seem adjusted correctly and are equal at idle. However the sych now favors the port side. Is it better to maintain the rpms according to the tachs and not worry about the synch? Anyone know of the issue with the synch?

On some models (like my 2002 310DA), a rubber track was used to attach the canvas to the windshield frame. Does anyone know if snaps can be placed in that track on the windshield if installing a new canvas, or do you still need to use the track? My canvas isn't bad, but I'm just curious.
