420/44 DB Owners Club

We use this table in the lower cockpit. It’s great in that limited space. We open for dinners and close up most of the day for cocktails. We use the original large table up on the bridge it’s great for when the whole family eats up there but it’s too big in my opinion. The oval table that was in the lower cockpit is just too small for us to all dine up at the bridge so looking to have something made.

That set up is exactly what I was thinking of. Fold out teak with moveable base. One size fits all.

How hard would it be to carry the base to the flybridge do you think?

Piece of cake, bringing it down is a bigger PIA lol! Just don’t drop it as the base is heavy. If you take it all apart it’s not bad at all. Takes a few mins.

In that case I think that’s the way I’ll go… Who needs a gym membership lol !

As my eyesight got worse my switch legends and lightning got more pronounced...
I was having the same problem trying to read the switch legend and I liked your switches so much I had to do the same.

We found that a original table in the cockpit large and always in the way, we ended up removing it. I reused the adjustable post on the bridge with the same style table as Irie - normally set for eating but can drop it down to a coffee table height when we have guests. We have had this folding table now for a few seasons and I'd do it again. It is nice having the extra space, makes it feel more open and easy access to the aft curtain zipper. We've talked about maybe putting a table back in the cockpit but I would only do this if I removed the bench seat - we're still talking!

I'm in the same 'boat' with reading the legends - yours and AEO look great! can you share where you ordered from? might add this to my winter list.

Where did you all get these folding tables made, and can I ask how much they cost?

I got mine from an outfit in England called Marine Teak, sadly their website states that they have closed. Too bad as their products were fantastic and reasonably priced. Unbelievably fast shipping as well.

Damn, I miss that boat!

I purchased ours from Marine Teak in the UK. As Carpe said, they were a great company to deal with, fast, reasonably priced and great quality (our table was $315 Euro in 2019). Their web site does indicate they have shut down. To bad ...

My first question is...are the SeaRay OEM switches easily replaceable to the ones you now have? I was reading on the website about needing a "2 lights in each switch" set up to get the full lighting effect. I don't think Sea Ray original switches (Contura 2??) already have the 2 lights set up?? Can you or Mark.60 tell us how to replace the switches to get the full effect? But you said you only replaced the covers? Thanks, Bob
