48 DA Owners Club

What happened to Jeffery???? Last we chatted he had a crazy offer on his 48.... Did he jump ship and move on????
Ha! I'm here....I countered the crazy offer with a higher counter...lol. I'm still shopping but in no hurry. The 48 is a damn hard boat to beat. I have my eye on a 57 Predator in Southern Ca but they'd need to come down 20% for me to get serious. It could happen. In the meantime I'm still pretty happy with the 48.

If your cameras are Garmin just add this and power and ground to each camera. I’m sure other manufacturers have similar splitters.

To all the Garmin guys... Best 100 bucks I’ve spent in a long time. Great for learning / using your screens without hunching over.

LOL... Wasn't sure if you had gone full Euro or not yet... My marina just anounced they were considering adding a 65 foot slip to the end of the dock and going to put it up for sale. My wife said oh SxxT....

Not a bad idea to just buy the slip so you have it. You know, just in case! lol. I still have my eye on this 58 Sundancer too. https://www.yachtworld.com/boats/2013/sea-ray-580-sundancer-3708653/ I was thnking about bribing you to go take a look at it for me.

LOL... That probably wouldn't be a good thing. My wife is dying to go to Marco Island and then she would see that boat....
Damn you're right...then you would have a new boat to bring back to your new slip! lol

If you decide to come look at it let me know. Probably easier for you to fly to Lauderdale and drive across vs Ft Meyers I am guessing. I can pick you up and dirve you to Marco to see it.

Grant, that’s an amazing offer. Hats off! Curiously has me wondering if you can transport a 58?

That would be awesome! I'll take you up on that if I decide to come out.

I have a shipping quote (float on float off) from Lauderdale to Ensenada Mexico at about $30K. It's easy for me to retrieve from Ensenada. It's much cheaper than I expected to ship. That 58 is worth about 10 to 15% more out here. There were only a small handful of 55's ever shipped to Ca. I believe there are 0 58's. It makes it worth the trouble to bring it out.

LOL... Once you get her comfortable on a nice boat they always want more!!!
Right? I think mine said "the 57 Predator looks a little cramped"‍♂️ I had to remind her it is 10 feet longer than what we have.

If you bought that boat I would recommend you use it here for the summer to enjoy the Bahamas islands and the Keys then come winter ship it to Mexico. You can live comfortable for some weekends and a week or so on that baby. Call it “working remotely” for the summer. I am heading to the Bahamas for a 10 day trip in early July. You would have a blast on that baby!!!

That's not a bad. Now you have me really thinking.
