Sweet adventure (or should I say Kewl?). Out of water aft only a few days? What will you do on the long legs? Beautiful sunrise picture!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.

Do you have a water maker on board?? If not that would be a really good cool mod to add!!

Hi John. I am so happy to read about your adventure it reminds my own crossing the Atlantic in 2008 with my own Mahe 36 cat. that I purchased in France and it brings me such a good memories , my itinerary was from France to Portugal then to the Canarry island to Cape verde and from there a three week sailing to the Antigua .

Yeah and it sounded pretty snotty out there too! I imagine we may not hear from him again until he reaches land? I'm not sure he has satellite Internet access out there. I hope he is well!

He updated the blog on 7/6. But I believe he flew back to Boston in June and another captain was taking the boat from Azores due to the delays he had. We'll wait to hear from him .

All is good guys and updates are there...I am heading back out to continue the journey.....I had a commitment that I had to be at, but good to go again.....MMT...That is the right way to go...Go south....Going west has been brutal.......I love the Mahe and that was the boat I was going to get until I found out 3 of my girlfriends were pregnant......kidding...

I got the Mahe since I had only 2 girl friends pregnant ,kidding too.The new Lipari its btfl. and I am sure you will have a great time saling her, it will be a complete different experience then your previus boat.
