Bad news, as some of you read in my prior thread, we were reevaluating our boating needs and had decided it might be time to sell the Sea Ray and get a bigger CC. Well just to see what kind of interest I could generate, I put her on CL last week. Well, had a guy come today to "look" at her. He fell in love and offered me asking price in cash. I accepted. Not sure if it was the right move as it happened so fast, but with many of the life changes we've made of late, I believe if it's meant to happen, it will. He is a family man who is passionate about boating and super excited about the purchase so I believe she's going to a good home.
So for the other news, we are moving to a new home this Friday that is on the river with ocean access and a boat lift. This is why we feel it's best to have a CC vs the cabin as our boating is going to be much more day trips vs staying on the boat at the marina. So the good news....after much consideration and looking at brands/models (and a lot of discussion with Rusty we have fell in love with the mid 90's Sea Ray Laguna 24' CC boats. So we will be staying in the SR family!!!!!! I have my eye on one right now that has twin Honda outboards that will be great for days trips and still a sound enough boat for our Bahama trips. So thanks to everyone, once again for all your support and advise. I will dearly miss my WE, but look forward to starting this next boating chapter.
