Calling all 360 DA owners

I think it's one of the best feelings in boating to just sit or lay there and relax after the closing on your new boat. There always seems to be a weight lifted after getting to that point. Then tomorrow you wake up with a long to do list of things you want to get at right away. Enjoy! :smt038

Congrats on the new boat. Now if mother will let you get out on the water.

I agree with Kevin, sitting on her after the closing even if she's not in the water and just in awe over the "new symbiotic union" is euphoric LOL. Heck I get that at the beginning of the season too.

Welcome to the 360 family and enjoy her Dave

Wow that brings back lot of memories from last spring.

Just closed on my 360DA! Laying in the forward berth as I type this, gale force winds are keeping me in the slip.... Boo! Maybe tomorrow the winds will drop a touch so I can get out on the Chesapeake.... Yay! I'll post a pic or two once I remember my photobucket login (cuz I know it's not real unless there's pictures.

Congrats on the new boat,

We took 1st boat ride of the year this weekend. I spent most of Saturday washing and cleaning. I had the impellers changed last week. During our ride, I cycled through my smatcraft readings. My water pressure smatcraft reading for port side were normal based on RPM. However, my starboard water pressure was maxed out at 43.4. No alarms and engine temp was normal. Is there a sensor that maybe was bumped loose during the impeller replacement? Thoughts?

I was still getting high water pressure readings on smart craft starboard engine. I unplugged the wiring harness that plugs into the water pressure sensor on the water pump. There was a bit of green looking corrosion. I scraped off the contacts with a screw driver....and the water pressure was back to normal. I'm glad that was an easy fix.

Phew the easy ones are far and few in between but take them when you can get them!

Beautiful boat! I love the blue hull and matching canvas

WOW Dave, She is BEAUTIFUL!!!! CONGRATS!!!!! :smt038 Love the deck rails they looks sweet

Anyone know what the trick is to get the TV in the galley to slide on the track... I'm about to rip the TV out of the wall I'm so frustrated... the left side track seems locked and I can't figure out how to unlock it

Under the wood base, I believe on the left side is a locking mechanism. You pull it towards you to release the rail.

On my 2005 360, on the switch in the galley for the lights/vent. Between those two switches is a push button. Press it and it fires the servo to release the pull out latch for the tv.

Found the Hv release button but appears to not be working along with my vents ... is there a manual way to unlock?

Thanks Guys! I'm diggin' it so far. So far docked it stern-to twice, once coached by a trainer-captain, second all by my lonesome. Since my previous largest boat was a single screw 30' Catalina sailboat that I always dock bow in (in '91-'94), this is still a little intimidating.

Also, to date I've marked my anchor chain / rode with 10' marks (red paint); set and recovered the anchor in ten feet of water in a stiff breeze(Sailboat had no anchor windlass, so this was EASY!); flushed the fresh water tank twice; changed the wiper blades; slept on it once; had breakfast and dinner aboard; participated three dock parties.

Next question: Burned out bulb in the head, has anyone used those G4 LED disks like these from SuperbrightLEDs, they look like they physically fit the fixture (If yes, which ones/lumens?):

ok given up on the tv works fine ill cross the bridge of getting the release on the slide hing to work another time. does anyone know where the POWER VENT MOTOR is in the 36? i have power to everything so I'm assuming the motor is bad....

I ordered the ones from superbright but the quality is subpar, 2 burned out, 1 dim...etc. Followed everyone else's advice to pay more for the ones from Marinebeam and all is well!

X2 on the Marinebeam because of quality and warranty. I still have to do my cabin lights.
