CSR Lake Erie Islands 2012 Rendezvous

I have had a leak in a valley for a while
I was inspecting from accross the street with high power binos and saw ALL of the flashing was loose
and the chimney is collapsing into the roofline...and the ridgecap is rotted out (PO did in sheetmetal..not copper)
and a storm took most of the gutters and gutter boards off the west side a few weeks ago
Insurance may help on the gutters but the roof is a no-go with them
 
Jim, I'm hoping for the best for you. I hate unexpected financial hits such as what you are facing. I'm leaving you on the list though just for some positive reinforcement!:thumbsup:

I would love to come up there and meet everyone but my wedding will be in august at lyman harbor so the weekends at that point are full of last minute trips to the sandusky area and bachelor parties for the wedding. I could possibly swing a saturday evening arrival. We were planning a trip to pib that weekend already i believe. I wont know for sure till last minute but i know it would be great time.

Congrats on the wedding. I am sure you will be plenty busy... would love to have you out to MBI! If you are ever around Catawba Island don't be afraid to look me up!:thumbsup:

Ive actually never boated in/to/or around Catawba Island i always seem to go north to kellys or pib. Although I have putted around there by car a few times if that counts.

It counts... It's a nice area to cruise. A few shoals to watch for but its nice. I have been there for 7 years... Well, if you find yourself driving around don't be afraid to look me up. I'm sure you will be preoccupied with the wedding for awhile though!
 
It is May 1st and we are getting closer to the first ever CSR Lake Erie Islands Rendezvous! It's time to reserve you dock for this event (see below).

I confirmed my reservation. I'll be arriving early on the 21st and departing sunday:) can't wait...praying for good weather.
 
I just got off the phone with the park...I confirmed my reservation,,good to go ! Will be there Saturday at noon,,,Lets all hope for good weather.

FYI it`s a $30.00 deposit over the phone, total cost is $1.45 per ft, includes water/shore power....11:00am check in

We're reserved for Saturday on the D pier. I'm still hoping to make it Friday evening but I won't know until the last minute.
 
Unfortunatly, we have to pass now as well. Both my boys are coming in with both girlfriends and everyone wants to do something different. So we need to stay at our homebase that weekend. They were all supposed to come in the first week of August. I was looking forward to meeting everyone. If you ever pass through Bay Point, hollar at M -22

Remember that this is just an informal get together to meet some of the great folks here on CSR! If you have friends that are interested in joining us, invite them as well. Not limited to Sea Ray owners!

If you in the area and can't spend the night, stop in for a few hours during the day on Saturday. The more the merrier!
 
Pyrojodge I just saw your 2 post in the personal section .......I apologise for the delay . First off, thank you. I went with the walnut interior below and changed the cockpit to all white with a argent color accent insert with a few more smaller changes thru out the rest of the boat. As for July 21, I may be at the bay that weekend. If so, I'll let you know, stop by. If you like Coors Light, you won't beat the price.

To the guys that have made their reservations thank you. I have worked out a deal at J.F. Walleyes and we will have a private area set aside for just us so we can socialize in piece. The marina is good to go and are excited to have us come and have been more then helpful in getting everything arranged. Hope fully we can get a few more members but I look forward to meeting all of the ones that have already stepped up. Send me a PM if you have any questions or concerns or If you have some ideas feel free to post them here... We are a month out and I hope this all goes well. See you all very soon!
