CSR Lake Erie Islands 2012 Rendezvous

I see there are several families that are bringing their kids with them; I have a 10 year old that if we're able to attend will most likely be there with us. He might stay with Granny if he chooses to. I haven't been to the island before is there a playground a beach or anything that would be kid orientated?

Yes, at the marina is a put put golf and bike rentals. At walleyes they have the blue lagoon which a lot of kids jump in and enjoy the waterfall and splashing around. There are a couple beaches that are usually never busy and there's lots to explore... the old Lonz winery is neat to check out....

Any one else ready to be back on the water. I am also very excited to meet everyone! We are getting closer.

Anyone launching in the bay, if you want to "caravan" to Middle Bass, we would be happy to meet you at our marina, Bay point, and hopefully give you some flat water.

Dan when are planning to head over? Friday or Saturday? I may take you up on that. Especially since I'm in bay point too!

Greg,

Not sure yet and I am flexible. My oldest is flying in from Greenville for the week so it may be Saturday morning. I will know more in a couple of months. I can always ask him to come over by ferry or if forced to run my boat somemore :smt038

We are on M-20 (I think) You can't miss us. Stop by this spring. We launch on the 7th.

I just made reservations for Middle Bass for 7/20 and 7/21. Dock Master didn't know anything about the
Sea Ray Club getting together. I told her about 11 boats had signed up and that we would individually make
our reservations. She wasn't sure if she could get us all together and asked if I would have our leader call and let her know how many docks we would need. (614-734-4425 ask for Karen).

Hey Guys,

I planned on calling them on Monday the 2nd and giving them the info. I was told that is when they would be available for registration. I will call Monday and set this up and give you guys the go ahead. Bob thank you for letting me know they are already there. And looking forward to meeting everyone! I will keep everyone posted...

Also working on getting some sea ray goodies together but nothing concrete as of yet. If any one has the chance please stop by Marine Max catawba and show your support of CSR. Thanks every one!

YOU are responsible for making your reservations.

I talked to Karen and reserved 20 docks for MBI july 20-22. 10 on D dock and 10 on E dock. The sooner you call and confirm the better. She will hold the docks for a short time.

Make your reservations now untill May 1st use this #

Looks like Kathy and I may have to back out for this year
A major unexpected home expendenture just came up today...slate roof issue
If anything changes we will be in but gotta get this done on short timeframe :smt009

Jim, good luck on the home repairs. Hate to hear about it. Was looking forward to having you with us. Hopefully the roof won't be as painful to the wallet and you may still make it...

gonna be at least 10k depending on how much of the 170 yr old stuff they break at 60.00 per slate and 3.50 per copper nail to install

if we can get there we surely will but doesn't look real hopeful as of right now

Wow, Jim. We have a slate roof on our barn. I know the costs that go with it. We just had the peak redone and OUCH! What happened if you don't mind me being nosy? We had hail damage and the insurance luckily stepped up and handled a large portion.
