"African or European?"

There are too many great Monty Python quotes to start singling them out.

Can't believe nobody mentioned "Hey, you scratched my anchor."

I've been rewatching the HBO series "Deadwood" and there are some good quotes in that show. My current favorite is "Announcing your plans is a good way to hear God laugh".

Ellwood: "It's 106 miles to Chigago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Jake: "Hit it."

Da-Blues Brothers!!

Its just a flesh wound.... Monte Python... There's a lot of quotes we like form a Fish Called Wanda, but most are inappropriate... You can't handle the truth... A few good men....

Forgot "Licence Registration, Meow" Super Troupers...

A few good men was a great movie.

I think this the exchange Rod was thinking about.

Tress: You want answers?

Reporter: I think we’re entitled to them.

Tress: You want answers?

Reporter: We want the truth!

Tress: You can't handle the truth! Son, we live in a world of X’s and O’s. And those X’s and O’s have to be drawn up by men with guts. Who's gonna do it? You Herbstriet? You, Corso? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for touchdowns and you curse Tresselball. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that Tresselball, while tragic and painful to watch, wins games. And my coaching, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, wins games...You don't want the truth. Because deep down, in places you don't talk about at tailgate parties, you want me on that sideline. You need me on that sideline.
We use words like Dave, field goal, punt... we use these words as the backbone to an offensive strategy. You use 'em as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to men who rise and sleep under the blanket of Michigan victories I provide, then question the manner in which I provide them! I'd rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a headset and call some plays. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you're entitled to!

Well boys........are you gonna pull those pistols or whistle dixie?

Clint Eastwood.....The outlaw Josie Wales

...What now? Let me tell you what now. I'ma call a coupla hard, pipe-hittin' niggers, who'll go to work on the homes here with a pair of pliers and a blow torch. You hear me talkin', hillbilly boy? I ain't through with you by a damn sight. I'ma get medieval on your ass...

OK, said earlier you could pick one of dozens of lines from Airplane. Here are a few...

Mostly, I remember the nights when we were together. I remember how you used to hold me and how I used to sit on your face and wriggle. -Elaine

I guess the foot's on the other hand now, isn't it, Kramer? -Striker

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking.
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit drinking.
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit amphetamines.
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue. -McCroskey

All right, Striker, you listen, and listen close. Flying a plane is no different from riding a bicycle; it's just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes. -Kramer

Joey, did ya ever hang around a gymnasium?
Joey, do you like movies about gladiators?
Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?
Have you ever seen a grown man naked? -Capt. Oveur

Or at breakfast when June said:

"Gee Ward, you were kind of hard on the Beaver last night..."
