Also, you forgot to mention anchors, all chain vs chain&rope, no wake zones, USCG boardings, etc.

I'm going to get something to nibble on (no, it's not my wife) and watch what happens here. This could turn into a movie--"Boating is the New Black."
 
You didn't bring enough ammunition.

You forgot global warming, assault weapons, and out of control police shootings. You could even go the extra mile and toss in a boating accident or two where the captain was stupid and couldn't be fixed.

Now with that on the table we should all be able to sit back and let the Internet experts dig up a hundred youTube videos to support their argument. :wow:

Any advice on what's the best motor oil to use? And I need a new anchor... which one is the best?

I am thinking of moving up to a larger fly bridge cruiser. My frend says he averages about 12GPH with his 45 Ft Twin Diesel Sea Ray. Either that or maybe I will swap out my 8.1s. Does anyone know what a diesel conversion would cost? A guy on our dock told me his neighbor got it done on his Regal 3880 for about $10k, does that sound correct?
 
I'm thinking of using a Honda generator on my swim platform all night long in a raft-up. That's OK, right?
 
Where can I find an electrically powered GenSet. Tired of burning all that fuel, just want to plug it in.
 
I think sailboats are better than powerboats...
