Fly Bridge vs Cave Boat, Portable Generators and Harbor Freight tools

Same theory as buying a boat, get the biggest bit you can afford.Dont forget to smear a little silicone around the edges,to keep the cord from chaffing.

is winterizing overrated???

why do I have to change the oil? it cam with new oil?

What are you going to do with that engine oil you just drained? Can I have it? I think I could run another season on it...

Do you still have the Danforth anchor for sale? .......(responding to a post from 2009).

Bilge is full of water and the fuse to the bilge pump is bad but when I open the faucet at the sink I can hear the pump running but there is no water pumping out of the bilge .

It's probably a duckbill problem...

I changed the duckbill's and it fixed my anchor windlass slipping.

Do my twin VHF antennas need to be straight up and down or can I leave them raked back at a jaunty angle? (For us longer-time members)
Something wrong with having them raked back? How else would you do moon bounce?

While we're passing time and hashing up old memories: Gary (Four Sons); please find and repost that classic picture of a duck without wings smoking a doob while looking at a computer screen with a picture on it of a red, white and blue painted all chain anchor rode.

Please! Please! Please!

I just bought me a 270 Sundancer. Think I'll have any trouble pulling it with my Toyota Tacoma? Should be OK there is only one 5,000' crest between me and the lake. OH yea & the surge brakes on the trailer don't work to good I'm thinking I can make better time going down hill anyway.

I seem to have forgotten which engine choice is best? Cat or Cummins? Any insight appreciated.

Installed my new anchor line today. Put 375 feet of line and 20 ft of chain but I couldn't fit the 5/8 line through the chain so I untrusted the line, cut 2 strands off braided the other through. I'm sure it'll hold
