Back em out and use 3" screws, that way they won't stick too far out of the hull and you won't have to do anything because they will corrode off flush to the hull, bottom paint will cover them when you do it next season. LOLI was using 4" screws to put my new floor down, I think I went through the hull. Should i just break them off and paint over?

Cant you just run a bonding wire to them and not worry about it?
Actually, I think it was the stern. PSA: you'll need a LOT of popcorn!!!

Can I safely take my 18ft bowrider to the Bahamas, will I have enough gas?
Nice edit!

Hey! I resemble that remark!!Is there anything wrong with fenders tied to the bow rail all season long, especially when cruising on plane?
That question was actually posed on another site. The fellow wanted to go from Montauk to Block.
The same guy wanted advice on retrofitting a weed whacker into a bow thruster for the same 18 footer.
He was an interesting dude.
Yes, but if you bond all the screws, you have to run the bonding wire up to your Honda generator that is tied to the swim platform.Cant you just run a bonding wire to them and not worry about it?

I just spent about an hour of my life reading that thread. I couldn't look away. Pure genius right there.
I got two of those--one for each engine--and plugged them into a power strip in the bilge. Right now I have one of the ER covers open so the extension cord can reach the power outlet on the dock, but I'm thinking it would be better to drill a hole and thread it through instead--what size bit should I use?We could discuss those crapy"Boat Safe " bilge heaters. That was a good topic from last year -- hehe
