I'm leaving in a few Hours to go to Cabo, Any Suggestions/Recomendations

Have fun at the Giggling Marlin! Also Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo is pretty good. A few nice golf courses and the fishing is nice there. What resort are you staying at?

Margaritas at Monkey business. Solomon's landing has good food as well.

Are you into partying, golf, fishing, ???

We usually stay within walking distance to the Marina and town. Last couple of times we stayed at Me Cabo Resort. If you want a party beach atmosphere where you can swim in the ocean then Medano Beach is fun. I had a great time deep sea fishing as well. Our hotel concierge hooked me up on a 30' boat with one other guest. Have done Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo a couple of times and had a great time. Not so much the next morning though.

Not a golfer so can't help you there.

We go to Cabo every year. We own timeshare at the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar in the corridor. First off about timeshares. You will be hawked by every living breathing person in Cabo about attending a timeshare presentation from the minute you land. If you want to attend one, hold out for at least $300 cash US or services (spa, massages etc) equaling that much. Expect to lose a day though. If not, just say no thank you and keep walking. About CSL. The streets were pretty dug up back in late March not sure how much they've fixed since but the main drag is OK. If you rent a car, make sure you park in pay lots. They are cheap enough. Big one is at the Wyndham, the other is by the Marine Mall. I have never felt unsafe there but still stay alert. You never know. Absolutely dine out instead of eating all meals at the resort. Much better and much cheaper. Two of my favorites are Hacienda El Coyote and Mi Casa. If you want a great burger, go to Desperados on a Tuesday or Thursday. They have a guitarist that plays that is world class. San Jose de Cabo is about 30 minutes drive in the other direction. Nice restaurants and art galleries. Much quieter. We prefer Cabo. The trip up to Todos Santos is about 45 minutes up the coast. Only thing there is an old hotel called Hotel California. It is not the hotel from the song. Not really worth the trip in my opinion. If you have a tablet, go onto Tripadvisor to look up things to do and restaurants. Expect to do a lot of walking in town so wear comfortable shoes. Sperry's are fine. Pretty much all restaurants are casual so t-shirts/golf shirts and shorts/dockers. Tell ladies to bring sweaters. Gets cold there at night and just about all restaurants are al fresco. Bring small bills, $1 and $5 for tipping. Don't waste your time with money exchange. US$ accepted everywhere and change is given in US if you ask. Using small bills for tips you know exactly what you are giving. Exch rate is about 11:1. If you are renting a car beware of the insurance scam. You are only required to take the minimum liability insurance but almost all companies will try and force you to take all of the extra insurances. Compact car with required insurance should cost no more than $200 for a week. Use collision protection offered through your credit card company. If you take the collision damage waiver, it is expensive and then your credit card insurance becomes invalid. Call down to Cactus Car Rental and ask for Antonio Miranda, 1-866-225-9220. Don't be fooled into thinking Hertz, Avis etc. will be better to avoid scams. Everyone that frequents Cabo knows Antonio is a stand up guy. Final note. Select your credit card wisely. If you do not use a card that has no foreign exchange fees, they will add up. Amazing that Amex, a travel card, does not offer this. Check with your CC companies. Have a great time.

We really enjoyed one of the snorkeling tours while we were there.

The main thing I was told was never hand your ID to a cop. If you are in the car, press it against the window so he can read it, or keep it in your hand and show it to him. Once you hand over your ID, you WILL have to pay to get it back.

We stay at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica on the ocean side.... not a swimming beach, but very nice place away from the crowd. Easy drive or cab into town. I second Mi Casa, one of my favorite restaurants in Cabo proper. If you like tacos stands (I usually hit everyone I see), Pepe's across from the marina has the best tacos el pastor (imho). If you have a rental car, side trip to Todos Santos, San Jose del Cabo, or even La Paz are fun. The best margarita ever are at a little shack next to San Jose del Cabo marina called the Drunken Sailor.

We just got settled in at Playa Grande Resort and Grand Spa. Thanks for all the tips!!!! The Pacific Ocean is beautiful.

Sweet! Have one or three for me!

You can walk down the beach towards lands end and climb over the rocks to lovers/divorce beach.
Be careful of rogue waves on the Pacific side.

I got really burned in the sun yesterday, but it's overcast today.
Man!!!!!! The beggars nearly drove me coo coo for coco puffs today. Every couple of feet somebody's trying to sell you something. Jewelry, boat rides, fishing trips, weed. I'm glad we are staying on the west side as they have a totally private beach area.
Happy Father's Day to my CSR bretheryn, and I'll be sure to drink one for you!!
